There will be 3 rounds.

# First round, there will be an aptitude test.

#Second round will be group discussion. Common topics will be placed before the group and a formal discussion or knowledge sharing is expected by the judge. Purpose of this round is to check communication skills, etiquette of person, listening ability, convincing power, group leadership, leader or follower and many more things are evaluated on the basis of requirement or the particular intention of organisation or company.

#Final round of the selection process, where the student’s stability and his confidence level towards the particular work will be evaluated. The interview will be focussed on overall personality of the candidate.

                       Albert Einstein once famously quoted, “Scientists investigate that which already is; Engineers create that which has never been.”  Present your imaginations and knowledge through modals and project charts. Pinnacle'12 offers you a national level platform to show your talent.

None topics are specified for modals and project charts. You are free to show your talent in any field of your choice.

Rules and Regulations for Ultimate Engineer:-

1. Maximum 5 students per model.

2. A model must be a working model.

3. Certificates will be provided to all the participants and the first winner will be                  awarded by a cash prize of rs. 200.

4. Participants must show their college identity card at the event.

5. The judgment of the technical Co-Chairs will be final.

6. Fee will be charged 10rs. each participant.

ISZAC -For programming maniacs

ISZAC

INTRODUCTION:

                       Do you find the challenge of solving algorithmically challenging problems enticing? Then this is the event for you! Solve nerve racking problems, debug seemingly correct code and code your way to be declared the Gods of the trade...

There will be 2 rounds. In the first round the participants are required to detect coding errors and the selected participants will qualify for the next round in which they will have to do programming on the given topic. The participant who performs the programming with minimum lines and no error will be declared as winner.

RULES:

1. There will be individual entries.

 2. The contest is divided into two rounds: a screening round, and the final round.

 Round I will be a written round comprising of 30-35 questions involving output predictions, debugging and code corrections. Duration: 45 minutes. Round II is the final round and this is where you'll actually be coding. 

3. The code will be machine tested and only perfectly correct results will be awarded marks. Partial code will NOT be rewarded.

4.Code will be judged on the basis of the time taken and the memory used. 5.The programming languages to be used in round II will be C/C++.

INTRODUCTION:   

                Hey are you prepared with your research works??? PINNACLE’12 provides you a national level platform to present yourself in front of judges and audience. Receiving and selecting of abstract and gathering for presentation are steps for this event.

Categories considered are:

     1. PRODUCTION & INDUSTRIAL ENGG.

     2. MECHANICAL ENGG.

     3. CIVIL ENGG.

     4. ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGG.

     5. COMPUTER ENGG.

DETAILS AND RULES:

1.    A maximum of 3 participants are allowed per team all of them belonging to the same institute. No entrant can be a part of more than one team. There is no limitation on the number of teams from an institute at any stage of the competition.

2.    Papers to be presented at PINNACLE’12 will be selected only on the basis of the originality.

3.    The screening will be done on the basis of the abstract. The abstract should be mailed to “technozz@in.com” on or before 19^th march 2012.

4.    Participants should send their name, college id, college name , phone number and registration number along with their abstract.

5.    Every participant should specify the category in which he or she will give the presentation.

6.    Acknowledgement of the receipt of the entries would be sent through email.

7.    Participants whose abstract will be short listed shall be informed personally through emails and phone on or before 21 march 2012.

8.    Selected participants will have to give their presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.

9.    Each team will get a maximum of 10 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for queries. If exceeded, the marks may be deducted accordingly.

10. A presentation has to be created by the participants based on your paper and that would be presented before the experts. The entire report/paper in form of three hard copies and one soft copy should be brought to the venue for judges.

11. Audio /video are strictly prohibited. Pictures and Graph may be used

12. Decision of the judges will be final.

Participation fee will be Rs30.

*Abstracts will be considered only of the registered entries.
